Some comments to the pictures: I'm still trying to figure out how to post the pictures with a nice layout. But it seems impossible. And on the pictures where it looks like my brother and his underage friends are drinking alcohol...it's not alcohol. I don't know what it was...it tasted like apple juice. We got it without asking when we were having lunch. And the last two pictures are from when me, petri, ali and måns jumped the fence to play some football at one of AC Milan's youth facilities. We got kicked out pretty quickly.
So it has been a while since I wrote the last time now. I have to start writing more frequently so I don’t have to write so much every time. But I guess it’s kind of a moment 22-problem. Since the reason to why I’m not writing so often is that I have so much to do. And that then leads to the fact that I have a lot of stuff to tell about when I finally decide to write.
Anyway…starting on Thursday last week. Petri (my finish friend) has an Italian friend who in turn is friend with a designer here in Milan. So she (Petri’s friend) got some tickets for me and Petri to go with them to a preparty-thing at a Diesel store. It was really cool, at lot of people with interesting clothing and also some models. And maybe the most surprising part of it all: free beer and drinks everywhere. They had fridges with free beer everywhere and also open bars with free drinks. The Italians who had some experience on this had of course brought some bags in which they just stuffed down as much beer and Bacardi breezer as possible when we were about to leave. Some people had stuffed the beer into paper bags, but they had of course loaded them too heavily so when they got out of the store the bag broke and all their beer got lost. A bit embarrassing for them but on the other hand it wasn’t really a secret for Diesel that people totally ripped beer from them.
Then on friday my brother (Tisen) came to visit me with his former football team. They were here over the weekend to go see Inter-Fiorentina on sunday. So I showed him and his friends around here in Milan. We went to have aperitivo twice and we shopping in the center (shopping for real in the regular stores and window shopping in the expensive ones) =). We also went inside il Doumo and also up on the roof of it. That was the first time for me also and it was really cool. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera so I don't have any pictures. But I will go there again some time so then I'll make sure to bring my camera. I have a few pictures from his visit though as you can see above. And I went with them to the game also of course. It wasn't the best game, I have to say. But Zlatan's incredible free kick in the end was worth the entrace (and possibly the flight for the guys from Sweden) alone. Tisen also managed to catch the ball on a picture just before it hit the goal. An effort almost as good as the free kick seeing that the speed of the free kick was 109 km/h. We also took the tour around the arena and went in to the dressing rooms and so on. It was nice.
Then on monday, when I really had decided that I needed to start studying and stop just doing fun stuff, a swedish girls that I know asked me if we wanted to go to a TV-gala at Old Fashion (a club) with her. She knew one of the bouncers at that place so he had her on the list and then she could bring us as her friends. Rumours said that Beckham would be there and people also said that he actually were there. I doubt it though...and if he was he sat in the VIP-area far away from us normal and mortal people.haha. But it was a fun night. Then on the other hand...something that wasn't so funny was the reality check on tuesday morning when the mondays postponed anxiety flushed over me with even greater power. But I've started to deal with that now by spending both tuesday and today at school. And then, just when my attempt to fool myself into believing that I am a good student actually seemed to go through, I logged on to my internet bank to check my financial status. BOOM! Reality gets in a good punch strait in the face. I have spent 28161 SEK during my 36 days here in Milano. To say it mildly, I would say that that is not really ok. Well...there is no reason to cry about that now. But some actions to stop this raging cash outflow obviously need to be taken. I'm thinking about swallowing my apartment key so I can't get out of the apartment. But then I still have the internet where I can spend money. Maybe I should put my wallet in a safety deposit box in some bank...we'll see.
Ciao tutti!
