Quick catch up!

So here is a quick catch up about what I've been up to so far here in Milan.

I can start out with the football. =) Me and finish guy that I hang out with all the time have been to 2 matches at San Siro so far. First we went to see AC Milan play Werder Bremen in the UEFA-cup. A game that Milan definitely should have won but they didn't. They were up 2-0 but couldn't hold the germans back (who actually were the better side and deserved the win). The game ended 2-2 and Milan lost on away goals (the first game in Germany was 1-1).

Then on Sunday the same week we went to see Inter play Roma. A really good game that ended 3-3. You can see the pictures and videos that I will post!

We also went to see when Beckham came to an adidas store here in Milan. It was pretty chaotic. One girl passed out and the ambulance had come and pick her up. I took a picture of here when she was passed out...pretty mean I know but I thought it would be funny to show on a blog like this one. So you all have to think it's really funny now so I don't feel so bad about taking that picture.

I can tell a little about the people I hang out with down here. First it's the finish guy that I hang out with the most. Then there's a bunch of girls in our exchange group that we also hang out with quite a lot. But they all live in residence..and it's a bit outside the city and both me and Petri live pretty much down town. So now we've started hanging out with another swedish guy and a spanian/qatari guy. Both really great guys and we have a great time together. We mostly go to aperitivo when we hang out. It's really great...you pay around 5-6 euro for something to drink and then you get to each as much as you like from the buffet. It's pretty cheap...but I guess we are the only ones really taking a lot of food. The italians might refill once, after that they just focus on their drink or wine.

For you who don't...I'm living in a flat with two italian girls and one italian guy. I live in the same room as the guy...but he is never at home so I get to have the room pretty much for myself which I think is nice. They are all really friendly and nice so that's great. We don't do that much stuff together though...I'm not so often at home and they aren't either. And it's a bit sad since I think the atmospehere in the apartment would be better if we knew eachother more. I intend to change that somehow.

I take three courses in economics down here (not business...nationalekonomi istället för företagsekonomi som jag normalt kör.) It's really interesting since the world economy is a bit shaky right now (to put it mildly). But to be honest...I haven't studied anything yet. I think it's because the course litterature mostly consists of academic articles which tend to be really heavy to read. So I haven't had the energy to start on that yet. I haven't bought the text books we need either...so no opportunity to read them. Well...I'm gonna take care of that soon. At least I have attended all classes so far so that's always something..haha. And only because I haven't studied on any of my economic subjects it doesn't mean that I haven't studied at all. I've been studying quite a lot of italian actually.

So that was a quick catch up of what I've been doing so far. Tomorrow it's Champions League so I have to spend some energy on finding the perfect place to see Real Madrid do a heroic effort in their away game against Liverpool. Then on wednesday I will wear my new Ibrahimovic-shirt with great pride as I hope to see and Inter kick out Man Utd. And on friday Tisen (my kid brother for you who don't know) and his football team is coming here to Milan. I really look forward to that. On sunday we're going on Inter-Fiorentina. Should be a great game.

I also have to start planning some trips on the weekends. There is so much of Italy I want to see. But first priority now is to find someone who wants to come to Rome with me on the 14:th of July. The Killers and Franz Ferdinand are playing at the same gig there, and if I go it will probably be the best concert I've ever been to.

Well...have to go to bed now. Buona notte!
